Yes I have noticed,they did the same with the war in Iraq. They love to talk about the bad but fail to mention the success the surge is and the soldiers that try and tell the good stories over there. When the news out of Iraq was contradicting the media's defeatist agenda, the news immediately switched to the economy. When there is any improvements or the reports aren't rather dismal concerning the economy (such as the price of oil dropping) they will quickly switch to some other anti-conservative subject to whine about.
Yea people tend to forget that people still aren't driving as much.
