Opec and taxes are mainly what causes high gas prices, but oil companies are making an even higher record prof

profit?

I've hear many people say that the gas companies only make so many cents per gallon, yet oil business is making record profits even though gas sales are falling.Opec and taxes are mainly what causes high gas prices, but oil companies are making an even higher record prof
While you may be correct that the sales of gasoline in the US is going down per consumer, there are now more of us using gas, and worldwide millions of autos are being added to the worlds roadways every year. The answer is volume.Opec and taxes are mainly what causes high gas prices, but oil companies are making an even higher record prof
It's not economics driving oil %26amp; gas prices, or the devalued

dollar. It is abyssmally ignorant US foreign policy. The Arabs

are roiled over Bush's illegal war, torture, et al; Hugo Chavez

has been treated badly by s__t-for-brains Bush, and as you

noted, US oil interests have managed to make record

profits, so in the final analysis, it's not market forces controlling the prices, it's political forces controlling the

market. The Republican administration is wholly responsible

for this state of affairs.
